The Polish community in the United Kingdom has learned with great sadness of the passing of Britain’s monarch, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, for whom it felt great affection and respect, as well as admiration for a long reign which gave this country a stability that Poland for many years could only envy.
We express our deepest condolences to the Queen’s family and to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth, who have all lost a mother.
Long live the King.
